This summer has flown by. I can't believe it's about to be August! We've had a lot of firsts this summer and August plans are shaping up nice as well.
Noah decided that he likes to run and asked if he could participate in a race. Last minute (as in the day before) we signed him up to run a 1/4 mile race which benefitted the homeless shelter that Grandpa Dan works at.
He was a bit nervous to run by himself with 103 other little kids, so a friend of Nana's, more importantly to Noah a runner friend of Nana's ran with him.
He tells me every time he sees his medal how proud he is of himself. He should be and so are we!!
Speaking of being proud--we went to visit Jeff's sister and brother-in-law this weekend. I learned how to waterski!!
Strawberries were a little late this year, but oh were they good!
We went twice to a local strawberry patch. We may have eaten more than we actually brought home :)
We made strawberry jam...
bread to go with our strawberry jam..
and strawberry lemonade.
T-ball is done tomorrow and we've even gone to the pool a few times, but hanging out together
and with friends tops the list!
