What Grows Up

...must come down.

Due to a nasty carpenter ant invasion, we found out our tree in the front of the house was rotten. Since the tree is on the boulevard, it belongs to the city and they agreed it needed to be cut down. *high fives for not having to pay for tree removal*

Turns out the guy who cut down our tree goes to church with us and we had a great time with him and his family at Family Camp this past weekend. 

Watching a tree being cut down in your front yard is not for the faint of heart. Of course, the sawdust is awesome to have for playing in with trucks and tractors:)
