and Noah turns 3

*He wanted a cow party; therefore a cow cake.*
yep--it's ok to make fun of it :)

3 years have flown by and Noah is really a little boy now. What a great three years we've had! Three seems to be a bit more difficult than 1 or 2 so we're adjusting SLOWLY--more tantrums and more discipline seem to be the routine.

The week started off with supper at the Peanut restaurant (Texas Roadhouse) with Aunt Andrea, Grandpa and Brady. Nana and Grandpa Dan came for dinner later that week and brought with them a truck with a trailer, skid steer and bale of hay. It was really hard to get Noah to do anything that night. Grandma and Rayna (our niece) came for a three day visit the next week and brought a tricycle for Noah with a horn :) A whole week of birthday jubilation

Noah really has grown up in the last couple of months. His speech has improved immensely and he's much easier to understand. He can count to 10 (when he feels like it) and to 5 all the time--he understands the concept of numbers too. He can sign and say most of his alphabet. He knows all his colors and today his favorite color is blue.

He likes to say yep and do and help in the kitchen. He's amazing at making pancakes. He's also great at making Emma laugh and dealing with being attacked by a baby sister.

His imagination is flourishing which is really neat to see. He rocks and puts George his monkey to sleep and can "fix" almost anything in our house.

oh yeah....Jeff, Emma and I got him a much asked for guitar. He finally settled on red and he's pretty good at it too!
