We've made it two months....and its been a tough two months. Jeff was laid off, got a new job and now works and goes to school full time. His schedule is quite full-school from 7 to 11/12 and work from 12:30-8:00 Mon through Thurs and work 6-6:30 on Friday. This schedule will change Monday when he starts going to school longer for his new semester. Weekends are spent working on the Blazer and trying to have some family time. Emma is completely different than Noah and we have to work a lot on making sure she sleeps enough and goes to bed on time. Noah is a great help to have and Emma adores him. She watches his every movement.
Wednesday was our two month check up and she weighed 8 lbs 15 oz and was 21 inches long. She's small but then again so is Noah. She did awesome with her shots and we even had company for supper that night! Nana came with us because I thought Noah was going to get a flu shot....turns out they have flu nasal spray and he was a trooper as always.
We purchased a sound machine and it seems to be helping with Emma's colic/screaming fits. I've learned to give her a bath around 6:30/7:00 and go ahead and put her to sleep and it seems to work well. She's a lot more like Brady than Noah and Andrea's giving me all sorts of good tips. Now to work on longer naps....she likes to sleep only for about 20-30 minutes at a time mainly because she prefers snuggling up to someone for sleeping. It's a good thing God gives us unconditional love for our children because some nights I don't know how I'm going to handle any more tantrums or crying.
Jeff's new job is going GREAT and we found out he's going to be able to graduate earlier than expected, so this is his last semester at school!! It's tough only seeing each other in quick snatches.
so glad she's sleeping better!! Love the pics of Noah with the camera!!
